FORKS BIBLE CHURCH

Pastor

Our Pastor and Teacher --George W. Williams

Under the Headship of our Chief Shepherd  ( Our Lord Jesus Christ ) the spiritual leadership of our ministry is vested in undershepherds known as "Elders".

They are scripturally quaified men who are committed to Jesus Christ and to His people. Along with our Elders we have a qualified Pastor-teacher to equip the saints for the work of service
(Ephesians 4:11-12).

Pastor George, entered the family of God in 1963 but did not seek to walk in obedience to Christ until 1973. As a result of the forgiving grace of God he began his pastoral service while a student at Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, AL where he graduated in 1981. He and his family moved to Forks from the Seattle area and have served the community and the Forks Bible Church since 1989.

In addition to his many opportunities of pastoral service on behalf of the church he serves as the Volunteer Chaplain the Forks Police Department and the local Search and Rescue unit.

Not only does he love studying and communicating God's Word and being a fisher of men, but also he enjoys occasional times of getting to the local rivers as a fisherman. Oftentimes, those occasions turn to opportunities of fishing for men.

Both he and his wife have been married to one another since 1969 and together they immensely enjoy being grandparents!
